Roco Kingdom Release Date: Global Beta Starts October 27 (2026)

Roco Kingdom has no global release date yet. What we do know: the first worldwide test, the Quack Quack Test, opens on October 27, 2026 at 02:00 UTC on PC (Steam and Epic Games Store), iOS and Android. The full launch will follow later on PC, PS5, Xbox Series X|S and mobile.

If you grew up clicking through the old Flash version, or you just saw Dimo pop up at Gamescom and wondered what all the noise was about, here is everything that is actually confirmed, minus the rumours.

When is the Roco Kingdom global release date?

There isn't one yet. Morefun Studios and Tencent revealed the global version of Roco Kingdom at Gamescom Opening Night Live on August 25, 2026, and confirmed the platforms, but they didn't put a day on the calendar for the full launch.

The only firm date right now is the closed beta. That's normal for a game this size: a worldwide test comes first, then server tuning, then the real launch. We'll update this page the moment a launch date is official, and we won't post a "leaked" date before then.

Quack Quack Test: the global beta dates and times

The Quack Quack Test is the first closed beta outside China. It starts on Tuesday, October 27, 2026 at 02:00 UTC. Because most of Europe and the UK leave summer time on October 25 and the US only switches on November 1, local times are a little unusual that week:

No end date has been published for the test. Expect it to run for a limited window, and keep an eye on the official channels for the closing time.

What the beta includes, and what it doesn't

• Languages: English and Japanese.
• Cross-progress: your save syncs between PC and mobile during the test.
• No in-game purchases are available.
• Progress is wiped when the test ends, so don't get too attached to that perfect team.
• The developers warn that features, translation, performance and balance in the beta are not final.

How to sign up for the Roco Kingdom closed beta

Recruitment opened on August 26 and closes on October 20, 2026. If you're reading this before then, you still have time:

1. Go to the official site, rocokingdom.com.
2. Sign in with a Level Infinite account, or create one.
3. Pre-register for the game.
4. Click Join the Test and fill in the recruitment questionnaire (region, platform, device).
5. From October 23, log back in to check whether you were selected. Confirmation emails go out in waves before launch day.

Signing up doesn't guarantee a spot. Selection depends on your region, platform and hardware, so answer the device questions honestly: a matching phone or PC is the best thing you can do for your chances.

Which platforms will Roco Kingdom be on?

The beta and the full game don't cover the same platforms. Here's the split:

Cross-play across all platforms is planned for launch. That means a friend on PS5 and you on your phone should be able to explore Carosia together once the full game is out.

Roco Kingdom in China: how we got here

The name isn't new. Roco Kingdom (洛克王国, Luòkè Wángguó) first launched as a free browser game in China on July 15, 2010, and became one of the country's biggest kids' games of that decade.

The new Roco Kingdom is a completely different beast: a 3D open-world creature collector built in Unreal Engine, with more than 400 Jinies to catch, train and battle. It launched in China on March 26, 2026 on PC, iOS, Android and HarmonyOS, and passed 30 million registered players in its first nine days. The global version you'll play is built on that release.

That history is also why you'll see the game called Rock Kingdom, Roco Kingdom: World or Luoke Wangguo online. They all refer to the same series.

What to do before October 27

• Sign up before October 20, then check your status from October 23.
• Wishlist the game on Steam so you're notified when the store page changes.
• Follow @RocoKingdomEN on X, where beta news lands first.
• Pick your starter in advance. Fire (Sparka), water (Cerulla) or grass (Meevy)? Half the fun of a beta is arguing about it with friends. Dimo, the series mascot, isn't going anywhere either.
